Cargo insurance is a type of property insurance which provides protection of interests of the cargo owners against losses occurred during the transportation.

Cargo insurance is performed based on generally accepted insurance conditions which are constituted by the Insurance London University (ILU). They are divided into 3 groups (A, B, C)

1. A - All risk coverage                                                                   
2. B - With particular average (WA) coverage                                             
3. C - Free of Particular Average (FPA) Coverage
